I want to inquire about the agreement between a landlord and tenant. What is the maximum level of penalty for not making a agreement between landlord and tenant? Does the penalty implies on both? And does the police has the right to search the premesis if the tenant doesn’t has the agreement at the time of searching?

    Non registration of Tenancy agreement is congnizable offence now, Police may arrest accused without warrant. But Police has no permission of house search in such cases, if any one act illgally , yo may file complaint.
