Question :

After the son died could it be possible for grandparents to put up a case for grand-kids(Boy-2.5years, Girl 0.5year) custody? Widow wants to keep kids away from them and financial condition of widow is not much sound as her father is retired too.
My concluded question is “Are grandparents eligible for custody? or weekly visits?”

    if mother is alive then she is natural guardian and have preferential right to keep the children.

    mother can claim the maintenance for children from grandparents, if grandparent are paying maintenance to children then they have also right to meet the children, however court always decide the custody petition after considering the welfare of minor which is a paramount consideration to decide a custody petition.
