I am trying to get a home visitation for my son as I am contesting a child custody case. My son is 2 years old in custody of the mother (Note that custody not decided yet). I am trying to get a home visitation for my son. At what age the court grants home visitation to the father and is this a practice that court gives visitation inside the court’s premises only.

Yes, you may get permission to meet your child at your home or at any park or play area etc. There are no hard and fast rules for visitation as no such law is provided in the statue but the only rule “welfare of the minor” is considered to decide such petitions. If the age of minor is above 3 years old then his temporary custody should be given to father so minor could be familiar with other family members also.
