Dear All
I have been involved in a fight with my maternal uncle, he gave a severe beating to my father and now on run, I have filed an FIR against him (452, 337 L2) but of no avail he keeps on disturbing and threatening us. What is the way to get rid of him, as law enforcement agencies are not very effective in ensuring our safety and allowing us peace of advice. As the issue is we are also neighbours.
Please advice appropriately.

It seems that you totally unaware of laws and procedure and also not engage any lawyer up-til now. After FIR he should be arrested if not got the bail from court.
on the other hand you should again file an application before for registration of FIR under section 506 PPC for threatening. you may also got direction from justice of peace/session court for if police is not arresting or may also file a application before DIG operation for your griev3ences. in my opinion you should engage a lawyer to watch you interests properly.
