I want to get some information about court marriage.
I wants to marry someone but their problem is that I’m converted from Qadiani to Islam but in my legal documents I’m still a Qadiani.
What will be the solution to this situation and one more thing is that there is something like contract marriage in Pakistani law.
Regards

ANSWER:
In response to your concerns, please note the following:
-
Court Marriage & Religious Identity:
Since you have converted from Ahmadiyyah (commonly referred to as Qadiani) to Islam, but your official documents still reflect your previous religious status, we recommend applying for a formal update of your religion in NADRA records. This is important for future legal matters, including Nikah registration. -
Court Marriage Arrangement:
Despite the status in your documents, we can arrange your court marriage provided you have a Certificate of Acceptance of Islam (Qabool-e-Islam Certificate) issued by a recognized Islamic institution or seminary. This certificate serves as evidence of your conversion and is acceptable for the solemnization of Nikah under Islamic law.If you do not currently have this certificate, we can assist you in obtaining it, as well as arranging for the formal solemnization of Islam through proper religious and legal channels. Once this is completed, we can proceed with the court marriage and registration accordingly.
-
Contract Marriage:
Please note that Pakistani law only recognizes Nikah as a valid form of marriage under Islamic law. While Nikah is itself a contract between two consenting adults, there is no legal provision for any informal or so-called “contract marriage” outside of this framework. Any such arrangement not registered through proper legal procedure will not be recognized by law.
Should you wish to proceed, we are fully prepared to guide you through each step, including documentation, legal advice, religious certification, and court marriage solemnization.
