Subject: Fee Refund Issue – Legal Advice
Dear [Recipient’s Name],
As per the Higher Education Commission (HEC) National Fee Refund Policy, students who cancel their admission within seven days of the commencement of classes are entitled to a full (100%) tuition fee refund. Since you canceled your admission at Chief Law College Township Campus within seven days and without attending any classes, you have the right to claim a full refund of your tuition fee.
It is important to note that while tuition fees are refundable, admission fees are generally non-refundable. If your payment included non-refundable admission charges, those may not be subject to a refund.
Recommended Actions:
- Formal Communication – Send a written request to Chief Law College, citing the HEC National Fee Refund Policy and requesting a refund.
- File Complaints – If the college refuses, you should immediately file a complaint with:
- Higher Education Commission (HEC)
- Punjab Bar Council, as the college is affiliated with a legal education regulatory body.
- Legal Action – If the issue persists, you may serve the institution with a legal notice through a lawyer, demanding the refund. If they still fail to comply, you may initiate legal proceedings for the recovery of your amount.
If you need legal assistance in drafting the legal notice or pursuing legal action, feel free to contact Pak-Lawyer Associates for professional legal representation.
