If an American National with Pakistani roots in family and a Muslim by faith wants to get married here in Pakistan then which procedure should be followed .court marriage or Islamic nikkah? And how to obtain Pakistani citizenship if he wants to live in Pakistan permanently.

    Yes, you may get married here and also get a Pakistani Citizenship after 5 years of Marriage with some conditions.

    Plase also note, for court marriage in Pakistan, Islamic Nikkah is mandatory. so you may use any option for marriage as per your convenience.
