Father had died and the kids were minor. The Court has issued the guardianship degree & succession but we are not given the original death certificate. Is it by law that the court keeps the original death certificate in its custody? Please share what law says in this regard and what is our right, thank you.

Thank you for your query. It seems there may have been a misunderstanding. The court does not permanently retain the original documents of the parties. However, during the evidence stage, it is routine for the court to request the submission of original documents for verification purposes. Once the case is decided, you may retrieve your original documents by providing certified copies in their place. This is a common and routine matter, and the procedure is simple and straightforward. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
