You may need to apply for a different visa or an extension of your current one if you want to pursue entrepreneurship. – Choose a business structure and name. You need to decide what kind of legal entity you want your business to be, such as a sole proprietorship, a partnership, a corporation, or a limited liability company (LLC). Each option has different tax implications and liability protections. You also need to choose a unique and catchy name for your business and register it with the state where you plan to operate. – Obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN). This is a nine-digit number that identifies your business for tax purposes. You can apply for an EIN online through the IRS website. You will need this number to open a bank account, file taxes, and hire employees for your business. – Open a bank account and obtain funding. You need to open a separate bank account for your business and keep your personal and business finances separate. You also need to find ways to fund your business, such as through personal savings, loans, grants, crowdfunding, or investors. – Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
