Aslam u Alikum,
This is contract Act 1872 section 46 About time and place of performance.
“When promise is to be performed on a certain day, and the promisor has undertaken to perform it without application by the promisee, the promisor may perform it at any time during the usual hours of business on such day and at the place at which the promise ought to be performed. ”
Can any body please explain what does it mean by the terms ‘the promisor has undertaken’ and ‘without application by the promisee’?

its simply means that promise should be performed without asking of promisee, any time but during normal working hours on same day for which promise was made.

I do got the below the words meaning. I asked about pin point word to word explanation. So far what i have got from what you said is ‘without application by the promisee’ means without asking of promisee for the performance. Can you please point out similarly what it actually means by ‘the promisor has undertaken’? thanks
