My mother passed away before the death of my grandfather

My mother passed away before the death of my grandfather, now the brothers of my mother says that we( children of deceased woman) will not get any share from our grandfather’s land because our mother passed away before the death our grandfather.. Kindly guide me according to Pakistani laws that do we have share in our grandfather (nana abu) land or not?
