Dear Sir,

I am looking for professional advice regarding renting business premises in Lahore, Pakistan. I will like to invest in business venture in Lahore, but as this will be my first time renting commercial property in Lahore (I am searching on zameen.com), I am concerned about fraud.

Can you please advise how I can safely ensure/check I am renting shop premises correctly (with proper documents and agreement)? I am also concerned about fraud papers shown be assumed landlord (who may not be actual landlord of property) as concerns widely spread, if you can please advise?

  1. To rent out a property rent agreement should be written through a lawyer and not by property agent and same should also be registered before rent controller. to purchase a property, it must be verified first from concern department and it should also be confirm that property is not mortgage to ay bank etc or there is no litigation pending on this property.
